Nature doesn’t try; it just is. It works with what it has within its means, swayed only by itself. I am awed by nature’s power of consistent change, where all elements are in constant conversation, fluctuating in favor of the moment. In wild places humans become small, no longer in the hierarchy of existence. The impact on the senses can be subtle or life changing depending on our level of awareness. Experiences in wild places can open up ways of learning, allowing us to see the universal connection between our humanity and the source of all things.
